Equipped with a professional 1/2.8 inch image sensor, Lumens VC-A50P produces excellent video output. The camera excels in difficult lighting conditions thanks to WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), 3D noise reduction, advanced auto-focus, auto-exposure, and auto-white balance algorithms. These enable the A50P to maintain a consistent output even while the camera is in motion or when the zoom angle changes.
Incorporating 3G-SDI and HDMI ports the camera also delivers video, audio, power, and control over IP. This versatility opens up a wealth of opportunities, including integration with AV, video conferencing and broadcast workflows, direct streaming to remote audiences, local distribution over the local area network, and third-party control. An NDI version of the VC-A50PN is also available.
VC-A50P is very powerful, delivering a live stream with a latency of less than 120ms. The camera uses H.264 video compression for a highly efficient stream and supports popular protocols including SRT, RTMP, MPEG-TS and RTMPS. This means that users can connect with popular content delivery networks (CDN) such as Facebook and YouTube, as well as private streaming channels and secure broadcast networks.
Power is supplied through PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) or via a 12v DC input. Perfect for use in theaters, studios, conference rooms, and public meeting spaces, the VC-A50P can be mounted to a floor stand, or suspended from the ceiling. The camera's image flip mode instantly corrects the output when the camera is inverted.
The robotic mechanism allows the camera to pan -170° to +170° and tilt from -30° to +90°. Camera movement is smooth, quiet, and precise, while the speed of movement can be varied by the operator using a hardware controller.
When connected to the network, a browser-based interface allows users to log onto the device to remotely view and control the camera using a PC, Mac, or mobile device. IP video can be transmitted to multiple terminals for monitoring, recording, switching, and transmission.
The camera's settings and PTZ control functions can be managed via the IP, RS-422, and RS-232 ports. Supporting industry-standard VISCA, ONVIF, and PELCO-D protocols, the camera is compatible with a range of control hardware, making it easy to integrate the camera into your video and AV network.
For consistent results and faster operation, the camera stores up-to 128 presets. Activating a preset instantly applies user-defined settings for pan, tilt and zoom position, focus, exposure and white balance. This allows the operator, for example, to automatically trigger a panning movement across a stage, a close-up focus on the presenter at the lectern, or a wide angle shot.
